We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler

2.0

I only really liked the last half of this book?? The first third before the ~*plot twist*~ I found extremely boring and hard to get into. Rosemary as a character was very dry and while the situations surrounding her were anything but ordinary her voice and perspective just constantly had me bored. I found all the psychology references interesting, and the last 50 pages definitely were the better part of this book but it’s nothing...memorable. I’m really surprised this was a finalist for the Man Booker bc....it doesn’t read like it.
