The Darkest Hour by Maya Banks
4.0
I was immediately hooked on this series. It reminds of one of my all time favorite series, Men Who Walk The Edge Of Honor by Lori Foster. In fact, the KGI series from Maya Banks may rival it.
I don't always enjoy when love interests are already a couple when the book begins (I prefer to read the build up to becoming a couple), but this book was an exception. Since Rachel has been presumed dead for a year, her relationship with Ethan is not set in stone, but rather has to be rebuilt.
Ethan is definitely NOT my favorite Kelly brother, but really liked his and Rachel's story.
