The Man in the Queue by Gordon Daviot
5.0
4.5. I loved this! My complaint is ( as an armchair detective ) the author didn't give us quite enough information to fully solve the crime. I knew what the brooch meant, and why he was in the queue, I suspected the motive behind the murder but I defy anyone to have actually guessed as to the name of the killer.
