A 5 star rating because I knocked this off in an afternoon/evening reading session. I literally could not put it down.

I'm not huge on young adult dystopian, but I'll give mass hyped books a crack.
Where [b:Delirium|11614718|Delirium (Delirium, #1)|Lauren Oliver|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1327890411s/11614718.jpg|10342808] had me gritting my teeth trying to get through the sap and overall dragging of a story, Divergent had me hooked.

I liked that it was not focused solely on Tris and Tobias. I love the avoidance of a love triangle.
I loved the concept that 5 personality traits divide a community. I really enjoyed how well Roth was able to so eloquently show that these individual traits on their own have downfalls. Especially when a lot of these traits are a common theme in the world we live in today.
