A story within a story within a story. The Wind Through the Keyhole gave closure on a relationship from Roland's past and there was also a visit from the man in black. I found myself looking up things from the dark tower series that I'd forgotten and just like any other King book, there are probably crossovers that I missed on the first reading I'll catch when I read it again.
