Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman

fast-paced

3.0

What a weird story. I thought it was good how it was told from the little girls point of view, but I was quite underwhelmed by the ending. I really thought something big was going to happen, and it didn't.
I felt like I read the whole story thinking it's going to have a godsmacking end, and it was like they all just gave in.
I did like how strong/tough the grandma and bela were in dealing with the entity. I didn't think much of the mom in this at all, I did, however, feel sorry for the daddo.
