Magic Hour by Kristin Hannah

5.0

Julia is a disgraced child psychiatrist after a recent scandal and is called to come home by her sister, the chief of police in her hometown, to work with a feral child who has just shown up in the town.

This is such a beautiful story written by Kristin Hannah. This book really tore at my heart strings. I laughed, I cried (a lot) and truly felt for the characters.

I just fell in love with little Alice and her story and just felt so heartbroken for her. She truly is the heart of this story. I was cheering her on every step of the way.

I was genuinely rooting for Julia and her story and her journey with Alice and her redemption. I also loved her relationship with her sister Ellie.

There were a lot of great side characters and small storylines as well. And I loved the small town vibe.

This novel is one of the best Kristina Hannah novels I’ve read, and I highly recommend picking it up!!
