Rafe by Rebekah Weatherspoon

2.0

I expected this to be a refreshing book to read cause this is my first time ever reading a book with a male nanny but it ended up being meh at best. I felt like there was more talk of the characters' traits and habits and about them than us seeing said traits and habits in action. Sloan is so smart and so amazing but we only hear about it we never got to see her in her element being a badass. And oh my god Rafe. He is so bland. If he was a dish he would be a banana oat smoothie. He's that bland. In theory he should've been fantastic because there's this uber-masculine guy who is such a softie in reality but then he is so not either. He's just boring. I also felt like the steamy scenes weren't steamy they didn't feel intense they felt a bit cold to me. This book just didn't click with me and it might with you so keep an open mind.
