Blech. This one was awful. I only finished because it was short and the last book in the series. The rest of this series hasn't been that great, but it's been oddly compelling and pleasant to read. This one was torturous.

The problems:
- From the start, this feels unnecessary because Liam Donovan isn't someone the reader knows from the first three books. Towards the end, it's explained that he's a distant cousin to that crew, and they pop down for a visit, but it's too little too late. The book steal feels like a lazy add on to what was initially meant to be a trilogy.
- Liam really does seem like a massive dick.
- Maybe because he comes over in wolf form and watches Rowan change a bunch.
- And also gives her mind orgasms in her sleep a bunch????? LITERALLY WHAT THE FUCK HOW IS THIS A REAL THING THAT HAPPENED
- Rowan also seems pretty TSTL basically all the time.
- They have no chemistry at all.
- His parents are pretty creepy and also basically stalking Rowan and just ew.

So yeah, would not recommend.
