After years of watching his video game reviews, I’ve only now discovered that one of my favorite game reviewers also writes books! If like me, you're a fan of Yahtzee's reviews then you likely already know what to expect. Yahtzee brings his cynical and snarky brand of Brit humor to his writing (and narration, if you have the audiobook version).
The satirical style of Will Save the Galaxy for Food is very Douglas Adams inspired. The story follows the misadventures of a Star Pilot in a universe where intergalactic space travel has been redundant with the invention of 'Quantum Tunneling'. Down on his luck and struggling to make ends meet, he gets roped into a job where he has to impersonate none but the galaxy's most hated Star Pilot, Jacques McKeown!
If you’re a fan of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and enjoy lighthearted humor laced with snark and sarcasm, this book is a must-read!
