With Murderous Intent by K.G. McAbee

5.0

A detective goes to see a horror novelist for help with some strange, paranormal-esque aspects to one of his cases. Except that there are a few twists - some of which you can see coming, some of which you can't. Or, well, I didn't.

Detective Joiner is more than a detective: he's the murderer he's hunting. And the author Jezebel Killian is his next target - except Jezebel Killian is actually four people. Which Joiner is prepared for.

What he isn't prepared for is that they aren't, strictly speaking, people.

Short, but not rushed. Well written, great characters, great one liners. KG McAbee is quickly becoming a favorite for me.
