Rebel just experienced the worst night of her life. Three men against one and it shook her to her core. Broke her confidence and made her not even want to be around Fang. The one man who always treated her with care. 

Then she goes to her mom's wedding after meeting her hot new stepbrother and watches as both their parents die right after saying, "I do."  Devastating. 

Vaughn is devastated by his dad's death. But he also has other crap to deal with because of his wife he left back in California. He finds out his dad left half of everything to his new stepsister. But he needs to get it all to pay off debts not of his own. 

So we got Rebel and Fang and Vaughn and then we slide in Kian when Rebel moves into Vaughn's house to stop him from  selling the house when she is entitled to half.
