I'd like to say that with this book, Ali Hazelwood take the crown for my comfort author, as I swear to God although her books have very foreseeable plot twists and the characters are just a copy and paste of the previous ones, they always manage to make me shriek, scream and screech. I loved Elsie, although she wasn't that developed her people-pleasing got to me, as I am as well and definitely helped me understand some stuff about myself.
I started hating Jack, but oh boy did he redeem himself. The sex scenes weren't also that bad... gotta admit.
Always enjoyed the political backdrop of academia, as I feel like it's very interesting ad something very real.
Overall, a wonderful read that I needed right now.
