First off I want to say I haven’t read the previous books. This was the first of Cookie & Co. so obviously I’m not sure how it was it the others, but like d*mn I get it! Yall are in love! You don’t have to profess your love every other page. Almost all of the dialogue sounded like the pivotal moment in a romcom where someone is processing their love. Not a natural sounding dialogue and it was constantly like this through the entire book. I almost wanted to skim ahead. And during the spicy scenes!!! Who is being that eloquent during a freaking o*gy😭😭😭 overall it was cute, but then men should also be in love too in my opinion lmaoo
