The Perfect Date by Evelyn Lozada, Holly Lorincz
3.0
The Perfect Date was not so perfect as the blurb made it out to be. Instead of a cute fake relationship to real I was expecting, it was very full of drama. That being said this drama did keep me engaged and surprised at the end with a twist I didn’t see coming.
The writing was choppy with sudden changes with the point of view which made things confusing at times. The choice of words to describe some characters was not the best at times. As well, I really wished we saw more character development with Angel but it was good seeing the ‘Duke’ grow up throughout the book.
Over all though, this book does bring about good view on second chances in life and choosing higher ground even if it means losing everything.
2.5⭐️
Readers Warning: sexual harassment and physical abuse
