Sometimes, you find a book, and other times, the book finds you. I'm not sure which happened here, because I picked up this book at a point in my life when I needed to read something like this. It's a powerful and tragic story, one that talks about life and death. The emotions I felt ranged from hopeful to devastated as I read it.
