For the Record by Regina Jennings
4.0
This book was lovely, charming and delightful. I didn't know it was the third book in the series until I looked it up on Goodreads after I read it. But it was a good stand alone.
Betsy is feisty and loveable. I love that she just wants to do what she wants to do with her life, instead of doing what society tells her to be. Joel is the natural hero in the story, even if he doesn't always act like that. This one was a great combination of history, romance, and mystery. Not a book I'd normally read, since I find some historical romances difficult to read, but this one was a great read.
