Still fantastic. I caught far more references - Shakespeare, Tennyson - this time. Absolutely worth a rare reread for me.

Beautiful. Two women on opposite sides of a temporal conflict exchange letters - with the correspondence beginning as a sort of taunt but quickly developing into something else entirely. I didn't expect to love this as much as I did but wow. The character development in this novella is incredible, especially for such a short text, and just enough of the world + the conflict is revealed to the reader.
