Дури еще хватает by Stephen Fry, Стивен Фрай

After the sublimity (if that’s a word) of the first two volumes of autobiography this was quite a letdown. There’s quite a lot of recapping in the first 50 or so pages and the last third is diary entries from four months in 1993. The rest is typically wonderful but it’s not really enough. I’m aware that we’re getting into territory that for Mr Fry is deeply personal and, at the time of writing, was still fairly recent history but this really doesn’t tell us much except that he was tremendously successful and had the ear of knights, princes and politicians as well as some of the most popular celebrities of the day. Even his drug issues are dealt with superficially. It’s still enjoyable but lacks that precision of analysis that the first two books had.
