Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
fast-paced
5.0
It is a beautiful story of a woman and an octopus becoming friends and finding lost family.
This was, in my opinion, one of the best books I've read this year it was heartwarming, wholesome, and full of great characters.
I love how Cameron found his family in the least likely of people and changed his life for the better by tracking down his biological father.
Tova was a great MC. She was tough, brave, and such a sweet woman, I'm glad she got a happy ending.
My favourite character was Marcellous, the octopus 🐙 Reading his side of the story was such an added bonus, I loved that he was a great judge of character and managed to help Tova find some family.
It's definitely an underrated book. Please go read it. It'll give you all the feels.
