3 stars because I just don't like biographies in general, but also, the author really should have had some better editing. Stirling was misspelled, and she never bothered to capitalize Navy, Air Force, or Army. That is just wrong. I thought it was too wordy, as well, and she didn't need to focus on as many details of all of the other people. I skimmed through every paragraph that didn't actually have Hopper's name in it.
