I’d say this series is pretty consistent in its storyline, characters, and pacing, so however you felt about the rest of the series, you’ll feel about the final book. It was a very satisfying, if not believable, ending, but that seems par for the course. Haha.

I listened to this series on audio, and am really glad I chose that route. I love it when you finally get the next book in a series and press play and hear that familiar voice. It just brings everything back. Well done!

(I honestly don't know why I continue to enjoy this series. It's a complete and total chaotic mess. I'm pretty sure the author watched a lot of soap operas growing up because I swear this is just one big epic soap opera fantasy. I don't really like any of the characters. They are all horrible, whiny, bratty people (except maybe Cleo), and I feel like they have the biggest mood swings I've ever read. It's my guess that the author has a set of "tragedy dice" that she rolls to see what terrible things she can make happen to each of the characters at any given moment. Also maybe "mood dice", to determine if they're going to be good or bad that day. But for some reason I just keep coming back...)
