This is the last book in this series that features these MC’s. I’m gonna miss them but there are more books set in this world and I’m definitely reading them soon.
In this book the human and Others in the Courtyard are getting closer, working and living with each other. The Elders are watching the Courtyard to determine what kind of humans they want to keep around and how they are working together in a community. When a lowlife human shows up, they want him to stay so they can see how it effects the other humans. Of course, trouble happens and has an impact on everyone.
At least we get a little resolution in the end. The author does leave it open enough to write more about them. I loved these characters!
