Honestly so breathtaking.

I was unsure of whether RF Kuang would be able to maintain the emotions and feels of The Poppy War but what she did was in fact infinitely better.

The storyline evolved in simply the best of ways and I felt my heart in my throat for most of the book. I could barely breathe at points. The last 40% of the book has me teetering on the edge constantly.

The ending has left me dizzyingly excited for A Burning God. Exceptional. Truly.
