I was promised sweet, cutesy fluffy romance and I got it. And I liked it. A lot. It was such a feel-good read and everything was like rainbows, butterflies, sprinkles and fucking donuts, Idk it was really sweet.
But that's also one of its downfall. The book was a bit boring for me at times. I didn't like the politics aspect of this and I know that obviously I would get to see politics in a book which tells the story of the love affair of prince of england and the first son of the US but still, it was too glorified. The party was too glorified and no, I didn't like it all. The unrealistic nature of this is what makes it a let-down for me but nevertheless I liked the romance. And it's great that there wasn't actual hardcore smut in there which I hate (ofc) but still there was a lot of sex(more than I can bear). It was a fun time but took me quite sometime to finish.
