Decided to dnf this. It is super slow, leads nowhere so far and I feel like the few characters I liked and care about act out of character. Dumb decisions are being made left & right, too many problems & things going on in the 1920s are being cramped into this which makes the slow pace even slower & the additional chapters are completely unnecessary. Also everybody just seems to have to have a romantic relationship of some kind (where one chara has an insta love after the interest of his love interest in him is pointed out by someone else…). Maybe I‘ll give this a try some time later, but for now I‘ll move on to books I‘m more interested in.
