Beholding and Becoming: The Art of Everyday Worship by Ruth Chou Simons

4.0

This book is a visual delight....it definitely shouldn't be read on a Kindle as half the enjoyment of the book is the art work. Ruth Chou Simons has organized the chapters in two parts: beholding and becoming. In Beholding she invites us to see something about ourselves or our Creator, and usually about both. In Becoming she shows us how we can change, how we can worship, and how we can become more like our Savior. Throughout the book she illustrates with verses, verses of hymns, or suggestions for application of the thought in the chapter. The book is encouraging, challenging, and convicting.
