Ah I was so thrilled to draw this from the TBR jar, this is one I knew I was going to need a push to pick up because of how much I loved There Is A Light by Ban. I went into this knowing queer, horror, scottish, folklore? and was met with all of those things and more! An absolutely delightful (and ridiculously fast) read. 

Like if any of the characters in Summer Sons were more functional, and instead of iced coffee they drank tea. Ok it wasn't really like Summer Sons at all but queer found family with paranormal hauntings and trying to solve a mystery involving a missing best friend/lover - that's pretty Summer Sons. Anyways, this was a delight and I will be keeping an eye out for anything Ban writes because fuck I really like what they have written (and I have read) so far!
