Cry in the Night by Colleen Coble

Let us thank Samson for carrying this book on his back. I really was just not a fan. I had a lot of problems with this book.

Firstly, the autism representation? Hmmm. Not a fan. I feel like Victor was babied and treated as less than. I think the representation was poorly executed here.

As for the infertility storyline, I actually thought it was good, but like, I felt like it was only mentioned a couple of times. Something that huge should take more precedence.

Kade is so hard to stand. He is extremely unsympathetic and just ughhh. Did not like him whatsoever.

The dead husband coming back was like...uhhhh okay? I guess? Weird? But whatever, okay.

Overall, this story contained lots of elements that could’ve been executed greatly, but fell really short for me.
