Where do I actually start, with a love story as dangerous as this one. Shane Hall and Genevieve Mercier (Eva Mercy) are the literal definition of soulmates. Even as a reader, their push-and-pull tension was fucking biblical. Tia Williams, thank you for writing black romance like no-goddamn-other. Every other romance novel I am yet to read will unfortunately be compared to this, too bad for them. Goddamn, this novel was delicious.
