Quintessential Coming-of-Age Horror Tale
I devoured this book.
After stumbling through the prologue, (Skip it, in my opinion. Totally different tone from the book, overly sexual, and unnecessary.) I couldn’t put this one down.
Night Worms included an exclusive Poltergeist Press printing of this mass-market paperback with their June 2020 box which was themed as “The Boys of Summer.” It included three coming-of-age horror novels and this is the first one I’ve finished.
It had adventure, heart, creepiness, and life lessons. Wholly recommend.
