First, let me say that there has never been a time when I have not fallen in love with Penelope Douglas's characters. And Damon...man, did she not disappoint with Damon. Kill Switch is the third installment in the Devil's Night series and tells the tale of Damon and Winter. Fans of the series will recognize Damon as the Grade A a**hole who terrorizes his friend group in the first two books. Winter is the blind girl who was (partly) responsible for having Damon thrown in jail in the first book, and now Damon wants revenge. What I L-O-V-E about Kill Switch above the rest of the series is it is such a redemption story. Damon is disturbed, but you just know there is a heart buried deep inside...and we may or may not finally get to see it. And Winter is definitely the strong heroine that's needed for this story because no one else could go toe-to-toe with Damon like she does. The action and thrills in the story, and the push-and-pull angst that builds up throughout, make this one of my top reads from this author. This is definitely a must read!
