Meet Felicity: An American Girl by Dan Andreasen, Valerie Tripp, Luann Roberts

5.0

I read this book as a child, and I’d simply like to recap what I loved and found to be bonkers during this re-reading:

-Jiggy Nye is like an actual psychopath who I fully believe can and has skinned and tanned people, therefore he would easily do so to these children
-Felicity has ADHD and is simply hyper focused on this horse and experiencing delusions of grandeur that have convinced her she is a horse whisperer. Although, as someone who is also demented, I cannot say anything against this because I also believe in my own and Felicity’s delusions.
-These breeches had to have been FOUL after a month with no washing. Not even taking into account the horse smells, a month of wearing the same pants? Rotten.
-her dad really had her back to like an insane degree considering how many actual crimes our girly committed
-how is letting a horse go into the woods during the winter the best solution? Then again, better than her being tanned leather
-truly cannot get over the looming specter of murder that this book has
