If you’re looking for a super unserious, rockstar gets stranded on an island with his back up singer, then this is the book for you. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I love that there was indigenous representation. I loved that there wasn’t truly a third act break up and I like that it’s just a fun summer read. 

That being said and I will say I wish there was more tension when West and Kat were stuck on the island together. I think it would have added to me being invested in the relationship more. Overall a pretty solid read though.
