The Three Little Aliens and the Big Bad Robot by Margaret McNamara
4.0
I really liked this retelling of the Three Little Pigs and I love their goofy alien faces. It's a little longer and wordier book than I usually use in my preschool Storytime, but I'm looking forward to using it this week nonetheless.
I found this author's note about Nklxwcyz's name to be very helpful if anyone else is stumped or disheartened by his consonant smush of a name. :)

I'm the author of THE THREE LITTLE ALIENS and I wanted to add a note to [the] thoughtful comments above. Here's some background on the third little alien's name:
When I was a kid, I read a lot of comic books, mostly Superman and Batman. Superman had a foe named Mr. Mxyzptlk, whose name fascinated me. Nklxwcyz's name is a direct descendant of Mr. Mxyzptlk's. There's no one correct way to pronounce it. Kids and parents/teachers/librarians can decide how they'd like it to sound. I pronounce it "Nik-luh-witz."But who knows -- maybe on Nklxwcyz's planet it's pronounced "Nork."
