The rapidly changing viewpoints in the book were kind of hard to get used to at first, but I really got caught up in the story. The tension increased as I learned more about the circumstances and people involved in the initial accident, and then it ramped up when Nikki and Mark's paths crossed. I couldn't put the book down until I finished it at 2 in the morning!

The striking feature of this book for me was the experience of being inside the mind of a man (Burke), and vicariously experiencing how he manipulated his truths and realities and they became real to him. It is not comfortable to be around in real life and it wasn't comfortable reading./
