I despised how this author wrote Kira’s character. It’s one thing to write a quirky character, but it’s another thing entirely when the character is so far beyond quirky that they sound more like an unrealistic caricature. 

Because what the fuck did this author mean that Kira was sooooo quirky that she.. never bothered… to lock her flat door?? That she did not worry one bit that she could have been robbed or god forbid raped at any time?? That she would easily go to bed with her door BUSTED OPEN, hanging off the hinges?? I’m sorry but no woman, NO WOMAN, would EVER do that, no matter how quirky she is?? ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE LIVES IN A DANGEROUS AREA???
