Magic and Mayhem by S. Usher Evans

4.0

It's been 18 months since Lexie was thrown into the world of magic and was burned by Gavon, her own father (not that she will ever call him that!). She's finally gotten to a point in her life where she can focus on her senior year of high school and getting into her top college choice of Georgetown. Then Gavon's apprentice shows up at school and throws Lexie's whole future into question.

MAGIC AND MAYHEM picks up a bit after the first book, but I got right into it. Lexie has a tendency to get in her own way, but she's lovable all the same. I had so many feels about her relationships and ability/inability to let people in by the end of the book. I'm excited for the next book in the series!
