Exciting, Dramatic and Fast-Paced!

Always a fan of Susan May Warren’s books, I was delighted to see the return of several favorite characters from series past, as well as launch into this intriguing story of former Navy SEAL Fraser Marshall and Lauchtenland Royal Guard Pippa Butler. Warren weaves all her books, characters and series together in most masterful ways, making them so exciting to read.

With beautiful scenery, riveting moments of suspense and heroism, these two powerful characters took me on a captivating ride. I could hardly put this story down! Great chemistry, tension, and moments of intensity. There was also a strong faith message, beautifully interwoven into character growth and a happily ever after. Can’t wait for the next book in this series!

Only drawback for me - keeping this from a five star read? Too many repetitive phrases and words (i.e. “probably” and “maybe”) that had me rushing through sentences, wanting to skip parts I’d already read.
