The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
3.0
As the successful Stella struggles with her autism, her parents, specifically her mother, want her to settle down and have children. But after a wrong date, Stella is led to believe she is broken when it comes to sex. To fix this “issue,” Stella decides to hire a male escort, Michael, to teach her how to enjoy sex. But, even as Michael becomes smitten by Stella and her love of math, he tells Stella they’re going to need to keep emotions out of it.
One of the strong points of this novel is the development of Stella’s and Michael’s relationship. As Michael helps Stella become comfortable with sex and her sexuality. Witnessing Stella start to gain confidence is heartwarming, especially as she becomes closer to Michael’s family.
The only thing that was weak within the story was the ending.
