Every Note Played by Lisa Genova

5.0

A monumentally powerful book written with real urgency and compassion. Richard and Karina are rich, flawed and most importantly real characters. This book grabbed me from page one and left me in tears at the end. Lisa Genova is a gifted writer with a talent for character interaction and internal monologue. In the hands of a less capable author, the material could be cruel, but here it is handled with grace and maturity. Highly recommend it.
