All in all, The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet was a complete hit for me. It had great characters, a fantastic universe and provided me with a lot of entertainment as the crew went on their adventures. The writing was phenomenal and I was shocked when I found out this was a debut novel. I had some issues with parts of the plot, but on the whole, this book blew me away. I’d recommend this book to every science fiction fan that I know, and even some readers who aren’t into sci-fi. It would be a good introduction to the genre.
