"You intoxicate me, Daisy. The scent of flowers lingers on you everywhere you go, and I always want to follow."
Whilst the writing in this book wasn't anything complex, I found myself completely enveloped in the story. I loved the characters and the yearning. The complimentary way that the MMC spoke to the FMC was everything. I was rooting for them from the beginning.
I'll admit, from around 52% this book is all miscommunication. But the author did it well, so I'm not too mad about it. And the quotes at the start of the chapters merging into a BOOK OF FRENCH POEMS HE WROTE COMPLETELY ABOUT HER?! That was the cherry on top.
I 100% recommend this book. A cute and easy read, with the most annotatable sentences.
