This is a beautiful book about a woman and her relationship with a Fox as well as the natural world around her. She is a biologist who lives a solitary existence in a very small cabin- she was traumatized by her childhood and doesn’t seem to relate to people well. This fox changes her perspective on her relationships. The writing is quite lovely and the descriptions make you want to head to the woods. It is not an action packed book but I found myself unable to put it down.
