...This was my first Clive Cussler novel (I can't believe I didn't know it was part of a series!). Anyway, I read it in high school, my brother passed it on to me. I LOVED it! So, based on my memories of this book, my first Dirk Pitt encounter, I say 4 stars indeed! Yes, you must suspend disbelief to fully enjoy these novels, but it's totally worth it.
