Jane Austen will forever be the OG man writing woman. The slow burn of this was just perfection, and it was refreshing to read a romance novel where I didn’t know who the main character would end up with.

The writing made me absolutely detest characters in a way, so immediately, that I haven’t felt in a long time. And the similarities between the ‘games’ played in ‘courting’ within modern day dating and back in the 1800’s was quite funny to see.
