I’ve been sleeping on this series, it’s so good! I really love the switch up of POVs in each books.

Tobias’s POV made me sad with his inner turmoil of being stuck in the morph, and when he lost himself for a couple days I was like noooo my son!! 😭 Also his home situation with his aunt and uncle is so crappy like wtf 😭

It does get a little tiresome though with the same intro 3 books in a row where whoever’s POV it is they say along the lines of “My name is X (or maybe I’m telling you a fake name), can’t tell you my last name, where I live etc because the yeerks/controllers are everywhere.” I really hope this won’t be the case with every book 💀 Other than that, I really enjoy the action sequences! The last few chapters had me so stressed and invested I couldn’t put it down.

I was happy Tobias managed to take down the supply ship and thought “yes we’re gonna end on a high note” just for them to rip it away with the poor female hawk!! Like she just escaped captivity just to die by the hands of some ugly af aliens??? rip, fly high 🥲
