Didn’t expect this book to be so emotional but it was. Ava has a traumatic experience and the most unlikely person comes to her “rescue”, but Ava is far from someone who necessarily needs to be rescued. Knox has his own demons but the two together are perfect for one another.

First book by this author and I look forward to reading some of her other books
