3.5 stars. Maddie felt like the little sister I never had throughout this book. I just wanted to give her a hug and have a good talk the whole time. I also thought all the characters were really well thought out and fleshed out, even down to the first terrible boss who’s only in the first chapters of the book. My issue with this was the pacing. What felt like should have taken months was crammed into a few weeks. Half the action seemed to be going too fast (online dating, finding a therapist) while the other half too slow (funeral planning).
