I loved the formatting of this book, it made for a fast read. The narrative intrigued me, but I believe the book could be condensed into its synopsis. It revolves around a scammer and an identity thief – interesting, but lacking substantial twists or revelations, leaving me quite disappointed. I also didn’t find the story realistic at all, the characters couldn’t connect with them at all. Example lora was too immature for her age and her actions pissed me off.

I was so worried for Lora throughout the book - knowing from the beginning that Cat wasn't who she said she was, I kept wondering what Cat's end goal was for Lora. But the ending now that I didn't see happening. But that makes me question why the FBI didn’t notice it like its their job and they had multiple people working the case against olesya.

My questions abt the ending:
So were the diary entries completely fake? Or did Cat start writing them to continue Lora's diary after she got hit by the car...? At what point did Lora get hit by the car / when did Cat take over her identity...? And so when "lora" was talking to FBI was it actually Cat..? Also was she ever working at Elle?
